Adele Forbes, Managing Director

Adele has worked in the Mortgage Industry for over 21 years having started her career in Customer Services in 1998. She became a Senior Underwriter in 2000 and authorising mortgages up to £1M. After proving so successful in this role she was head-hunted to assist in the launch of Deutsche Bank Mortgages in 2006.

Adele also was a Mortgage Arrears Counsellor for 2 years during the recession with a brief spell in Corporate Finance for 12 months as a Business Development Manager.

Qualifying in 2013 as a mortgage adviser Adele was the Team Leader looking after 5 Estate Agency brands. 

After working for numerous companies in many different roles Adele has now set up West Yorkshire Money with the intention of making it the most respected financial brand in the area.

First record ever bought?  – Jason Donavon – too many broken hearts – on vinyl.

Dream Job?  – I achieved my ambition by setting West Yorkshire Money. Although, I did always want to be a Property Surveyor or a Retail Buyer.

First car?  – A Ford Escort Harrier

Favourite Film? – 28 Days Later – I love a good virus film! 

Ideal night out?   – Anywhere that has good food -long gone are those night clubbing days!

Favourite biscuit?  – Ginger biscuit with tea.

Last holiday?  – Dundee, Scotland (working holiday seeing family). Previously, Mexico on my Honeymoon.

Emma Hutchinson - Director

This is the first appointment for West Yorkshire Money and will help Adele with her expansion plans.

Emma has worked in Financial Services for 14 years. Back in 2005, She started her career as a General Insurance Adviser before moving on to a PA role. 

In 2011, She completed her CeMAP and became a Self-Employed Mortgage and Protection Adviser. She has worked with a Network of Estate Agents for 4 years. In addition to her CeMAP qualification, she also holds a qualification for Equity Release and General Insurance 

Emma also has extensive knowledge in Specialist Mortgages

Klaudia Bernazcek - Mortgage & Protection Specialist

Klaudia qualified for CeMAP after arranging her own mortgage for her first residential property in 2019.

She started Advising in 2019 and is passionate about assisting Clients. She specialises in Adverse Credit and residential purchases and re-mortgages.

Gina Buckle - Administrator

Gina has a Degree and a Masters in Town planning. She worked for a Local Authority as a planning officer, for six years.

She then decided  to move into the Financial Sector, and since then has worked in various roles within customer service, for a High Street Bank, for over ten years.

Dream Job – Be a Mortgage Advisor.

Steve Paterson - Equity Release Consultant

Steve is a very experienced Financial Consultant with over 21 Years’ service and experience working within the Finance Sector, particularly regarding building relationships with business and has a track record in delivering high-quality outcomes for customers. 

After working on the Money Advice Service Contract and seeing the confusion on Lifetime Mortgages, Steve developed a passion for (and specialises in) the Equity Release market place.

First record ever bought? “Mull of Kintyre by Paul McCartney, a Christmas present for my mam!”

First car? “A mustard coloured Austin Allegro.”

Martin Fawcett – Group Compliance Consultant

Martin is an enthusiastic and highly motivated Compliance & Training professional, originally from a background of sales training. In his consultancy role he provides advice on all compliance & training matters within the firm

He has over 35 years’ experience, gained in all sectors of the financial services industry, and a good working knowledge of the FCA Regulations and T&C Requirements.

Martin has a proven ability to work alongside staff, management and advisers to identify their needs, provide clear guidance and produce the required results.
